BOGear is an Australian brand that designs and manufactures unique customs packs. The Spare Camel was BOGear's signature pack, built to be indestructible yet well thought out with simplicity and modularity in mind.

The main compartment opens fully for easy packing, and bright orange interior makes it easy to see everything. The laptop compartment opens fully also revealing the loop patch for an organizer and padded laptop and tablet sleeves. Laser cut PALS panel on the outside is subtle but remains ready for business when needed.

  • #10 YKK RC zippers
  • 3 mesh zippered pockets on the front wall
  • Pleated sleeve on the back wall, 375 mm tall

Laptop compartment:

  • Clamshell opening, #10 YKK RC zippers
  • Loop patch for Type 1 or Type 2 organizer on the front wall
  • Document sleeve behind loop patch
  • 2 Tweave pockets below loop patch
  • Padded laptop sleeve with pleated sides and bottom, with magnetic closure, and will fit laptops up to 394 x 292 x 25 mm
  • Padded tablet sleeve

Exceptionally Well Made

The pack is exceptionally built! I have the habit of checking every square centimeter of any pack I buy upon delivery for loose threads or faults, couldn't find a single one on this one which is very rare.
The X50 material is awesome, it combines the best of Cordura and X-Pac in my opinion, but it can be a bit of a lint magnet (Something to be aware of but not a deal breaker).
I do feel the lack of a top or side access pocket (Front two compartments can do the job but they can be cumbersome when the bag is stuffed) and a bottle holder, but other than that I have zero issues dailying the pack especially with the robust and comfortable harness system A19xBOgear developed.
Over all I believe it will be a keeper for a long long time!
